A little slice of heaven in my own backyard

Things for me at the moment are pretty hectic, crazy, draining, and depressing.  So I visited a little second hand bookshop that I visit two weeks ago in town. One that I had no idea existed for three years, until two weeks ago. I drive past if every other day. I can hardly believe it.

And then two weeks ago I was asked, “Have you been to that op shop (what we call a second hand-store in Australia) in town?”

and I rattled off the three I know and was told, “no the one near the petrol (gas) station…

“That’s a book store?! I thought it just sold clothes!”.

It does not just sell clothes…

I’ve got a thousand more pictures, I’ll share them soon.

*sigh* isn’t it just a beautiful sight!

Happy reading

Avid reader and 'collector' of books. I'm a prison psychologist and criminologist, so no surprise when I admit I have a particular like in true crime and psychological/police procedure thrillers and suspense books.
